Today in class we discussed the end of the war and evaluated the implications of the Treaty of Versailles. We compared the 14 points to the treaty. For each point we paraphrased it into our own words and then answered the questions attached in the Treaty of Versailles document.

The video below is what we watched and took notes on today. This also served as a review to the first three sections students read for homework along with the articles read in class. There will be a binder check on Wednesday of the work completed for WWI.

Today in class we watched the music videos that students created.
For class on Wednesday please read the two articles below. You will need to take one full page of notes for each article. Please label the notes in your spiral notebook the article name.

Chapter 26 Section 2 due Wednesday Chapter 26 Section 3 due Friday Yesterday in class students were given a video project on the causes of WWI. They need to include the 4 M.A.I.N causes and also the spark that led to the war. Students can do a normal video or they can do a music video parody. All of the information that they will need for this project can be found in their homework reading Ch. 26 Section 1. If students need more information they can watch the John Green Crash Course. Homework due Friday: Vocab- 4 words (militarism, alliances, imperialism, nationalism) Chapter 26 section 1- one full page of notes Link to video rubric! Please enjoy your 4 day weekend. On Tuesday we will go over everything that has been updated in the grade book. We will discuss office hours and availability for retakes. I will also add all of these dates to the calendar.
Students took the written portion of the test today and tomorrow will take the multiple choice section.
Binder check will be on May 30th. All the group packets will be worth 10 points and will be located in the classwork section. The rest of the points are from class notes in the spiral notebook. There is no organization component.
